The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) Kottayam chapter launched an online webinar series called Talkathon '20 in May 2020 - during the time of the pandemic. Amrutha Kishor of Elemental was given the opportunity to speak during the 9th edition of the program held live on Zoom on 23rd August 2020.
Amrutha titled her 40-minute talk 'Bringing the outside in' which covered a range of topics i.e. critical regionalism, climate responsive design and green building certifications. She used the example of The EcoHouse, which was recently published on Architectural Digest to elaborate on these concepts.
